Registration

Please ensure you have read and understood this page before registering for the conference.

Data for Policy is a fee-paying event.

Data for Policy is an independent not-for-profit community organisation which is not supported by any major organisation or funding body as its main sponsor. Charging a ticket fee allows Data for Policy to cover its costs in setting up and running the conference.

The link for registration is https://members.dataforpolicy.org/2022-conference/

Important update for Hong Kong conference: We have taken the reluctant decision to restrict in-person attendance at the conference to those who are not subject to current quarantine/medical surveillance restrictions (please check these at https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/inbound-travel.html). Those who are affected by this will be able to attend and present virtually. Note that anyone who is planning to be in Hong Kong more than seven days before the conference will be free from medical surveillance, and thus able to attend (according to current restrictions, and Covid status permitting). Please also note that we do expect those who are not affected by restrictions to attend in-person.

For Data for Policy 2022, we are creating a new website area for conference delegates. To purchase a conference ticket, you will create an account which gives you access to the conference delegate website.

Summary of Ticket Information

  • Standard Delegate Ticket: £250 (one region in-person attendance; two regions virtual attendance)
  • Three Region Delegate Ticket: £650 (in-person attendance in all regions)
  • Inclusion Scholarship Ticket: £25 (participants awarded a Data for Policy Inclusion Scholarship to attend one region in-person, and two regions virtually). If you purchase a discounted ticket, and you have not been awarded a scholarship, you will be liable for the full ticket amount. If you decline to pay the full ticket amount, you will not receive a refund. For the application process, see this page
  • Data for Policy Sustainer Partners Ticket: Data for Policy receives support from its Sustainer Partner organisations, which covers a number of tickets for participation at its annual conference series. A sustainer partner email address is required to be eligible (from UCL, Office for National Statistics UK and the Alan Turing Institute). If you register for a sustainer partner ticket and you are not eligible, you will be liable for the full ticket amount.
