Conference Structure
In Hong Kong and Seattle, the conference will be a combination of invited and contributed talks that will run in a single track. Sessions featuring individual presentations are expected to run for 45 minutes. In Brussels, sessions featuring individual presentations and contributed panels will run in parallel.
In order to maximise the number of presentations and to allow for sufficient time for discussion, presenters will be required to submit 15-20 minute-length videos in advance of the conference, and will give ~5-minute, live summary presentation during the session (timing depending on the number of participants in each session). Attendees are expected to watch the videos in their own time; there will be no streaming of these at the conference. Thus, each session will comprise 3-4 summary presentations, and ~20 minutes discussion time.
The conference organisers reserve the right to move presentations between tracks to fit with the overall structure and content of the conference programme. Presentations may be scheduled at any time during the day.
Please note that each speaker can only present at one session during the conference. If you have authors with more than one submission accepted for oral presentation, they should normally be presented by other co-authors. If this cannot be arranged, please get in touch with our team as soon as possible to make a final decision on which paper(s) to include in the final programme.
