The Data for Policy CIC condemns the Russian invasion of Ukraine and ensuing war in the strongest possible terms. As a community network, with connections across the globe, including the Russian region, we are horrified at Russia’s actions in Ukraine, and wish to express our solidarity and support for the people of Ukraine, and also for those in Russia who share our horror.
As a global conference, we receive consider submissions from individuals located in any part of the world, and as advised by Universities UK will not make a blanket boycott of submissions from Russia. Therefore, our approach will not discriminate on the grounds of nationality or location of authors. We will consider contributions from unaffiliated individuals on a case by case basis, with our usual rigorous peer review, and informed by Government guidance.
As this tragic situation continues, we will continue to monitor developments, and may revise this policy accordingly.
