Dr. Emanuela Podda is a research Fellow working at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Department of Computer Science. She has a legal background and, with a PhD in Law, Science & Technology, she undertakes research at the intersection of law and computer science, focusing on the challenges posed by the law to the engineering and computation of specific data processing operations. She is also interested in the design of data governance models integrating applicable regulatory frameworks. Emanuela is also qualified as lawyer with professional experience in the European institutions.
