About Shanghai Research Institute for Autonomous Intelligent Systems (SRIIAS):

Shanghai Research Institute for Autonomous Intelligent Systems was jointly established by Shanghai Municipal Government and Tongji University on December 17, 2018. The institute leverages the university’s interdisciplinary research resources to tackle cutting-edge research problems and cultivate high-end talents in Al. Focusing on three aspects of the autonomous systems: heterogeneous multi-agent systems, single agents, sensing devices and control units, the research teams strive to solve three key issues in Al research: autonomous and sensing systems, emergent intel-ligence, collaborative and swarm intelligence. By gathering a multidisciplinary group of talented researchers, and building research infrastructure, the institute undertakes research projects both in National and Municipal level.

We are excited to be collaborating with SRIIAS to bring the Data for Policy 2025 Asia-Pacific edition to life.
