Yanto Chandra is a Professor of Public Strategy and Governance in the Department of Public and International Affairs at the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). He co-directs Technology, Policy and Law Laboratory at CityUHK. He studies how innovation and strategy shape performance in the public and social sectors, including how new technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain affect the society and policy, and how to better govern them. His research has been published in leading journals in public administration and policy, and management and organizations. His work has been featured in, among others, Public Administration, Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, Policy Studies Journal, and Journal of Management Studies.
