Austin Zwick
Austin Zwick is an Associate Teaching Professor with a joint appointment to the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs and the College of Professional Studies at Syracuse University, where he also is a Senior Research Associate for the Autonomous Systems Policy Institute and serves as the Director of the Bachelor of Professional Studies in Policy Studies program. He previously served as a co-editor on The Platform Economy and the Smart City: Technology and the Transformation of Urban Policy published by McGill-Queens University Press, and The Routledge Handbook of the Gig Economy published by Routledge, as well as an Associate Editor for the journal IET Smart Cities. Zwick’s research is on municipal government policy learning and innovation with respect to emerging industries, focusing on smart cities, the platform economy, and artificial intelligence.
