Leah Lazer
Leah Lazer is an urban sustainability researcher who helps policymakers make evidence-based, equity-focused decisions. She works as Circular Economy Expert at ICLEI, a network of local governments for sustainable development, based in Freiburg, Germany. Previously, over seven years at the World Resources Institute in Washington DC, she authored publications on urban planning, equitable climate action, and mobility. Leah’s research was presented at the UN Climate Action Summit and COP26 and cited in the Wall Street Journal, Time, WIRED and The Guardian. She also serves as a Domain Expert for Carbon13 start-ups and consults for C40 Cities on fossil fuel subsidy reform. Leah holds an M.Sc. in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Food System Studies from Tufts University.
