Dr Mitzi Bolton is a Senior Lecturer, public administration scholar and former public servant, deeply committed to enhancing public sector practice. Her extensive public administration practice in technical, policy, regulation and reform has resulted in her research and impact agenda – seeking to enhance public sector decision-making practices to facilitate sustainability transitions. Mitzi has a deep interest in systems thinking, leading to a diverse array of research topics, including the potential and pitfalls of advanced data science and artificial intelligence as public sector tools, and policy enablers required to advance the circular economy.
