The Data for Policy Conference series is a leading platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange, drawing high-quality submissions from top researchers and thought leaders at the intersection of data/AI and policy/governance. Each year, the conference brings together an international network of researchers, policymakers, and representatives from academia, public, non-profit, and commercial sectors. Alternating between global and regional formats, the conference series balances global networking and collaboration with an appreciation for diverse, region-specific perspectives on data-for-policy.

The Data for Policy Community, anchored by this flagship conference series, collaborates with Cambridge University Press on its dedicated open-access publication, the Data & Policy journal. An integrated review process allows full paper submissions to be considered for both conference presentation and publication in the journal, significantly reducing the review time for formal publication.

The Data for Policy Conference series is chaired by Zeynep Engin (Data for Policy CIC and UCL), Jon Crowcroft (Data for Policy CIC, University of Cambridge, and The Alan Turing Institute), and Stefaan Verhulst (Data for Policy CIC and New York University).
